Halloween Parade In Red Bank: 75th Annual Event Is Sunday
Red Bank gets a new name for Halloween: "Boo Bank: A Trail of Fright From Broad to White"; borough Halloween Parade is Sunday.

RED BANK, NJ — The 75th annual Halloween Parade is Sunday, and the town - known as "Boo Bank" for the holiday - is brewing with lots of Halloween fun.
First, the milestone parade gathers at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22. Weather is expected to be fine. But if not, there is a rain date of Oct. 29, the borough Department of Parks & Recreation says.
Line-up will be at 1 p.m. at the corner of Hudson Avenue and East Bergen Place. The parade walk will start at 2 p.m., ending with a celebration at the White Street parking lot.

Goodie bags will be given to the first 500 children who attend.
There is a costume contest with prizes, sponsored by Red Bank RiverCenter, and a trophy for the best float presented by the Red Bank Fire Department. To register a float, contact recreation@redbanknj.org.

Look for food vendors, music, games and more at the celebration, including a live concert by School of Rock.
The Vin Gopal Civic Association is sponsoring the event.
Also, Parks & Recreation is now selling T-shirts for the parade, sponsored by Corcoran Baer & McIntosh. You can buy one at 90 Monmouth St., Red Bank (2nd Floor). Pay online at register.capturepoint.com/redbank (Special Events 2023) or at the department's office on 90 Monmouth St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $15/shirt or $20/2XL shirt.
But that's not all planned in town.
Witches Night Out comes to Red Bank on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m. with a witch dance at Riverside Gardens Park and concludes with a screening of "The Craft" at Basie Center Cinemas at 9 p.m., Red Bank RiverCenter says.
In between, "revelers in witchy attire" can enjoy activities and specials at Barbizon of Red Bank, Cabana 19, Danny's Steak House & Seafood Grill, Fourchette Red Bank, Front Street Tattoo, Open Heart Yoga NJ, Red Rock Tap + Grill, 26 West on the Navesink, The Green Room - Red Bank, Urban Coalhouse Pizza and Bar, Witch Baby Red Bank, according to RiverCenter.
And you can save your receipts from any downtown Red Bank business from the evening of Oct. 26 for a chance to win the "Witch's Cauldron" gift basket.
