‘More Than A Food Hall’: New Market Sets Opening Day In Red Bank
Located on Monmouth Street, the new market is aiming to create a gathering space for Red Bank that blends food, culture and community.

RED BANK, NJ — A new market is coming to Red Bank and has set its opening day for the fall.
Anderson Market, which will open in the former Sickles Market space in the Anderson Building at 200 Monmouth Street, is set to open its doors to customers on Sept. 8, officials said.
Once a stopover for travelers, officials said the building the market will open in is “stepping into a new life as a home for chefs, makers, and neighbors.”

With a mix of food stalls, gourmet provisions, a lounge, and room for events, the market is looking to become a gathering ground for Red Bank that blends food, culture and community.
“We’re more than a food hall,” said Chris Viola, founder of Anderson Market. “We’re building a culturally driven space where local flavors and meaningful connections thrive.”

Once open, the market will feature the following vendors, as well as salads and noodles:
- Namkeen (hot chicken)
- Booskerdoo Coffee & Bakery (NJ coffee roastery and bakery)
- Local 130 (wholesale seafood purveyors)
- Nick & Sons (bakery)
- Molly Boards (charcuterie and custom catering)
- The Butcher & The Bull (market and butchery)
- Fleur De Mer (mobile flower bar)
