Paving Work To Close Part Of Route 35 In Red Bank Thursday AM

RED BANK, NJ — Both northbound lanes of Route 35 at Newman Springs Road (Route 520) will be closed Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. for repaving after utility work there Wednesday, Red Bank said in an alert to residents .

Due to the emergency utility work, both northbound lanes of Highway 35 were closed most of Wednesday in the area.

No immediate information on the exact nature of the emergency was available.

Motorists should avoid the area if possible and follow posted detours, officials said.
