Prom Item Donation Drive Underway In Red Bank

Lunch Break is seeking donations of gowns, tuxedos, make-up and more for the drive.

RED BANK, NJ — Now through March 21, Lunch Break is seeking donations to help make local teens’ prom dreams come true.

The Red Bank-based organization freely provides food, clothing, life skills and more to those in need, according to their website.

Now, Lunch Break is hosting their donation drive for prom and special occasion items for teens. Suggested donation items include:

  • Gowns
  • Jewelry
  • Dress purses
  • New make-up
  • Tuxedos
  • Dress shirts
  • Dress socks
  • Formal shoes
  • Cufflinks
  • Cummerbunds
  • Gift cards
  • Local gift certificates to hair and nail salons

The organization emphasized donations of larger sizes and men’s formal shoes, as Lunch Break said they often find themselves in need of those donations when holding the drive.

Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 121 Drs. James Parker Blvd., Red Bank.
