
Curtain's up on Wednesday for the Red Bank Regional Theater Company's performance of Moliere's Tartuffe.
The show, the namesake of which means "imposter," is a comedy about a pious fraud and his antics in a household. The play was written in 1664 by Moliere and was originally censored by King Louis XIV, and has been dubbed as "timeless."
Curtain is at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, opening night. Additional show times are: Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m.; Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, the final performance, at 3 p.m.
