• Novelist Lynn Clay Byrne is at River Road Books in Fair Haven tonight.

• Read to a therapy dog at Monmouth County Library in Shrewsbury starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday night. Call to register at 732-842-5995.

• Looks like it's going to rain today, according to the National Weather Service. It may even snow, with high temperatures of 44 degrees.
