2020 Red Bank Regional Grad Passes Away

RED BANK, NJ — A young man who had just graduated from Red Bank Regional High School in June suddenly passed away.

Edgar Lino died "due to an unfortunate event on the night of July 9" (last Thursday), according to this Go Fund Me page created by his loved ones.

The young man died at mid-afternoon the following day, the page read.

Lino had just graduated from Red Bank Regional as the class of 2020 this year, RedBankGreen reported. He died less than a month after graduation, which was held virtually on June 17.

His cause of death has not been publicly revealed. The GFM has nearly reached its goal of $16,000 to help pay for funeral expenses.

Lino leaves behind his mother and siblings, a friend wrote on Twitter.
