Red Bank Closes Streets For Outdoor Dining Plazas

RED BANK, NJ — Like several towns in New Jersey, Red Bank is in the process of closing down certain streets to create outdoor dining plazas, to comply with Gov. Murphy's rules on how restaurants and bars can operate once they are allowed to reopen for outdoor dining on Jun 15.

Red Bank will open two outdoor plazas: One on Broad Street, between Front Street and Wallace Street, and the other on Monmouth Street, from Broad Street to Drummon Place, borough business administrator Ziad Shehady, told NJ.com.

Those streets will not be permanently shut down. The plazas will be open Thursdays to Saturdays. Alcohol will be allowed to be consumed outdoors in those areas.
