Fire Damages Monmouth County Home
The fire broke out Tuesday afternoon at a home on Marion Street, Red Bank Fire Department Chief Frank Woods told Patch.
RED BANK, NJ — There were no injuries reported in a fire that ripped through a Marion Street home Tuesday afternoon, Red Bank Fire Department Chief Frank Woods told Patch.
Firefighters received a report of the fire around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and found fire in the home’s dining room, kitchen, back deck, and back of the house, Woods said. Smoke and heat damage went throughout the rest of the home.
The Red Bank Fire Department was among the units responding, alongside Middletown, River Plaza, Little Silver FD, the Fair Haven Fire Department, the Fair Haven First Aid Squad, and the Monmouth County Fire Marshal’s Office, according to the Red Bank Fire Department.

A majority of the fire was extinguished by 2:56 p.m., and the fire was deemed under control at that time, Woods said. There were no injuries to the residence.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Red Bank Fire Marshal’s Office and Monmouth County Fire Marshal’s Office, according to Woods.

“Great job done by the Red Bank Fire Department and all the firefighters,” Woods said. “A special thanks goes to all the mutual aid fire departments, first aids, the Monmouth County coordinators, the Fire Marshal’s Office, the Red Bank Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Red Bank Police Department.”
“We are so fortunate to have the assistance of these mutual companies and the county agencies,” Woods continued.
