Red Bank Indian Restaurant To Open Second Location
Bombay River is opening a second location in the Asbury Park area. It will bring Indian fare to the Jersey Shore soon, its owner says.
RED BANK, NJ — Takeout fans, rejoice.
Bombay River is opening its second location in Ocean Township, according to a Facebook post from its owner.
Dubbed Bombay River Express, the new storefront will be located at 1013 Route 35 under International Bites. Owner Sourabh “Sam” Jain told Patch that the restaurant is slated to open on April 15.

According to its website, the culinary stylings of Bombay River feature a twist on traditional Indian fare, with “familiar elements of the Far East combined with inspired new international flavors.”
Menu offerings include samosas, masalas, rice specialties and Bombay River fajitas.

“The owner and chef have a combined tenure of over 30 years in the hospitality and food industry,” its website reads. “Together, they have developed a menu that redefines what is expected of Indian cooking while being mindful of today's health-conscious eating.”
