The superintendent said that because of the current "uptick in COVID-19" a few "common-sense actions"are being taken:
- For the present time, all students, staff and guests are required to wear face masks on buses and at all times when they are in the building, as per the state-wide mandate.
- The district strongly encourages all eligible members of the community to be vaccinated. The district is hosting a walk-in vaccine clinic on Friday from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
- Students will have a regular lunch period but additional areas in the building will be utilized to facilitate social distancing.
An FAQ will be sent out to the community before school starts with additional COVID-specific policies.
