Red Bank, Shrewsbury Physicians On Magazine's 'Top Docs' List

Twelve Red Bank and Shrewsbury doctors have earned inclusion on New Jersey Monthly's 2012 list of "New Jersey's Top Doctors," appearing in this week's issue.  

The magazine polled 22,780 New Jersey doctors and asked them who they considered the state's best, naming 839 to the list.

Local doctors included on the list are:

• Andrew I. Elkwood (Surgery, plastic and reconstructive)
• Matthew R. Kaufman (Surgery, plastic and reconstructive)
• Scott E. Metzger (Anesthesiology & pain management)
• Steve J. Paragioudakis (Surgery, spine)
• Arvind Prabhat (Otolaryngology)
• Michael I. Rose (Surgery, plastic and reconstructive)
• Darsit K. Shah (Otolaryngology)
• Anil K. Sharma (Anesthesiology & pain management)
• Peter S. Staats (Anesthesiology & pain management)
• Lawrence M. Stankovits (Pediatrics, orthopedics)

Two of the 12 local doctors have been recognized on the top doctors list before: Chagares (2012, 2011) and Metzger (2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007).
