RED BANK-SHREWSBURY, NJ — The primary election is quickly approaching, and it’s almost time for residents around Red Bank and Shrewsbury to cast their ballots for local committees, commissioner boards and more.

Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 10, though the early voting period will begin on Tuesday, June 3, and run through Sunday, June 8.

For the primary election, residents vote for contested and uncontested races in their Democratic and Republican parties.

Voting

For the 2025 Primary Election, Monmouth County will have ten specially designated in-person early voting locations that will be open Tuesday, June 3 through Sunday, June 8, for those who wish to cast their ballots early.

Hours for early voting will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. To find your early voting location, you can click here.

On Primary Election Day, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout Monmouth County. Polling locations can be found here or through a search on the NJ Division of Elections website.
