Remembering Our Veterans in Red Bank

Find out when and where Veterans Day services are; and send us photos of your own special vets.

Veterans Day is a time to remember those who have served and are serving our country.

Trips are made to cemeteries that are strewn with memorial flags from veterans’ organizations and area fire companies — a thank you and “lest we forget” marker from those who remain and carry on in the spirit of volunteerism.

In Red Bank, there's an 11 a.m. Veterans Day service at Veterans Monument, 51 Monmouth St.

The aim of such memorial services is the ensure that while many who have served the country are gone, they are not forgotten. Neither are those who remain.
Patch would like to honor those in uniform of days gone by and now by featuring photos of the vets from these hometowns.

See if you remember the vets we’ve entered from last year's ceremony in Red Bank and please send your own photos of someone special to remember to elaine.develde@patch.com and they will be added to our gallery. “Lest we forget …”
