Eleanor Lillian Cheng, M.D., board certified in ophthalmology, has joined the staff at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
Cheng, who has a fellowship, is trained in corneal, external disease and refractive surgery from Corneal Associates of New Jersey, according to a release from Riverview.
Prior to fellowship training, Dr. Cheng, who received her medical degree from Chicago Medical School's Roaslind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She completed an ophthalmology residency at Chicago-based John Stroger Hospital of Cook County, it added. There, she served as chief resident.
Specializing in corneal transplantation, as well as cataract and refractive surgery, Dr. Cheng is a member in both the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
