Road Closures Planned In Red Bank & Shrewsbury: See When

RED BANK-SHREWSBURY, NJ — Residents should be aware of road closures planned for a Halloween Parade and 5K Classic in Red Bank and Shrewsbury over the weekend.
In Red Bank, the Halloween Parade will lead to parking lot and street closures as early as 8 a.m. on Sunday.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., borough officials said the White Street Parking Lot will be closed for the parade, while streets along the parade route will be temporarily closed from 12-3 p.m.

The parade route will include E. Bergen Street, Hudson Avenue, Broad Street and White Street.
Borough officials are asking drivers to plan ahead and use alternate routes as needed.

In Shrewsbury, the annual Shrewsbury 5K Classic will take place on Sunday between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
While the race occurs, Shrewsbury Police said the roads along the race route, as well as connecting streets, will be closed to all vehicle traffic.
The road closures will include:
- Patterson Avenue + connecting streets between Route 35 & Trafford Street
- Trafford Street
- Francis Street between Henry Street & Trafford Street
- Spruce Drive
- Birch Drive
- Samara Drive
- Obre Place
- Quaker Way
Police are asking drivers to plan accordingly ahead of the race.
“We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you,” Shrewsbury Police said.
