Services for Calvary Baptist Church's Reverend Northington on Saturday
The reverend died on Sept. 29.
A tremendous loss is what Red Bank Mayor Pat Menna called the death of Calvary Baptist Church's Reverend Dr. Dwight Crist Northington.
Governing body members agreed at Wednesday night's meeting when the Sept. 29 death of the 61-year-old reverend was mentioned in remembrance and as a reminder that there will be services to honor him on Saturday.
Menna said he will be speaking at the noon service at the River Street church on Saturday, Oct. 12. The celebration of Rev. Northington's life will be proceeded by a visitation with the family at 11 a.m.
In charge of arrangements is Child's Funeral Home, Red Bank.
