Tanja Larsen’s fourth-grade class created solar eclipse music for the event, made chalk creations of an eclipse and played a NASA photo game called Snap It!

Laura Ehlers and Kristen Tardiff worked with fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders to create solar eclipse bookmarks with UV light-detecting beads. They also created models of the different stages of an eclipse.

Other classes tested the safety of the eclipse glasses and used temperature gauges.

All attendees will receive a pair of ISO standard eclipse glasses, which are required to safely view the sun during the partial solar eclipse, the school said.
