Shrewsbury DWI Checkpoint Starting On Friday Night
Checkpoint will begin at 10 p.m on Friday and end at 2 p.m. on Saturday

SHREWSBURY, NJ - Don't say you haven't been warned.
The Monmouth County DWI Task force will conduct a driving while intoxicated checkpoint on Route 35 South starting on 10 p.m. on Friday, May 4 and running through 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 , task force coordinator Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer said.
Task force members and Shrewsbury Police Department officers will pull vehicles from the southbound lanes on Route 35 South into the Shrewsbury Plaza parking lot to determine whether drivers are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, Palmer said.
