SHREWSBURY, NJ — A local contestant on "The Golden Bachelor" show on ABC is still in the running, viewers learned Thursday night.

Things became a little tense for Theresa, of Shrewsbury, with her fellow contestants this week, especially after her private date with bachelor Gerry Turner the week before.

But a little drama is to be expected - producers do call it a "show," after all.

She went on to be granted a rose by Turner in Episode 3, to return another week as a contestant.

Theresa recently had her 70th birthday, one episode of the show revealed; Turner, of Indiana, is now 72. The show centers on mature love.

The TV audience doesn't yet know the outcome for Theresa.

But tune in next Thursday, Oct. 19, at 8 p.m. on ABC to see how her story continues in Episode 4.
