The tension is growing as the field of 22 contestants is now down to six, including Theresa.
Widower Gerry Turner, who seems like a genuinely caring fellow, is conflicted about how many women he is attracted to. And he feels guilty when the inevitable rejection comes at the end of each show and he must leave some of the contestants without a rose.

Theresa has not figured too prominently in another episode since her date on the Oct. 5 episode. She and Gerry both lost spouses and seemed to make a connection at a lively date at a diner.
She was so thrilled by the experience that she shared it with another contestant, Kathy, who took offense at what she felt was Theresa's possessiveness. She ended up telling Theresa to "zip it."
The tiff was duly reported to Gerry by each woman, so he was faced with a dilemma, but he reacted diplomatically. While quietly disappointed and concerned, he did not judge.
But Kathy didn't get a rose last Thursday. Theresa did.
The TV audience doesn't yet know the outcome for Theresa. But tune in next Thursday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m. on ABC to see how her story continues.
