Shrewsbury Tree Lighting, Holiday Celebration Is Saturday

The Shrewsbury 15th annual tree lighting is that and much more: Santa, singing, treats and a petting zoo planned for Nov. 25.

SHREWSBURY, NJ — Shrewsbury's 15th annual tree lighting is Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. at Borough Hall, the borough announced.

Enjoy lots of holiday festivities, including:

  • Pictures with Santa
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Dance Plus Holiday Dancers
  • Hot Chocolate & Holiday Treats
  • Performances by Shrewsbury Borough School kindergarteners, first-graders and chorus
  • Petting zoo
  • Fun Music with DJ

The borough will be collecting sock donations for Holiday Express & The Grove.

  • The Shrewsbury Hose Co. No. 1 Ladies' Auxiliary Pancake Breakfast with Santa is Dec. 3 at the Shrewsbury Firehouse, 783 Broad St., from 9 a.m. to noon. $10 donation; no cost for children under 3. Photos with Santa. Ornaments for an additional fee. Click here for more information.
