Sweet Streets: Valentine's Day Stroll In Red Bank, Special Menus

RED BANK, NJ — You might be seeing red on Saturday in Red Bank - but in a good way.

The Red Bank Valentine’s Sweet Stroll returns this Saturday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

And visitors are encouraged to dress in their "most vibrant Valentine’s colors and enjoy a decadent day in downtown Red Bank," Red Bank RiverCenter suggests.

You can pick up a Red Bank tote bag and walking map at Ce La Vi, located at 16 Monmouth St., and load up on treats downtown merchants have to offer.

As of Friday, more than 40 businesses have signed up for the Valentine's Day fun. You can see a full list with specials here. You'll see some discounts, special treats and more. Your map will guide you.

But if you are looking to settle in somewhere for a Valentine's Day celebration with less walking, some area restaurants are happy to oblige:

• Saffron - Modern Indian Dining has prepared a specially curated three-course Valentine's Day menu for $65 per guest. Signature menu items, such as the Crispy Cauliflower and Butter Chicken, will be available for guests to order. In addition, Executive Chef Abhishek Patil is also working on amplifying the menu by creating new exclusive items only available on this special day. Saffron is at 31 W. • Red Horse by David Burke, 26 Ridge Road in Rumson is not too far away and has some special offerings, too. Tuesday, Feb. 13, there is a Galentine’s Day Happy Hour All Night in the bar/lounge with a special Galentine cocktail, select wines by the glass for $10; beers for $6; cocktails for $10 (martinis, add $2) and Bar Bites and Sushi Rolls. On the big day itself, Feb. 14, there is a Valentine’s Day "Three-course Prix Fixe plus Amuse" at $135-plus. Check out www.redhorsebydb.com.
