
Teresa “Tae” Piccolie of Red Bank, passed away on March 29, 2018 at her home. She was 98.
She was born in Red Bank to the late John and Maria (Geroni) Ambrosia. Tae enjoyed playing cards, the Yankees and was an excellent cook. She was a member of the ladies fire auxiliary for over 50 years. Tae worked as a hairdresser for Beauty Nook in Middletown and later as a ward secretary for Riverview Medical Center.
Tae is predeceased by her husband Edward “Rebbie” Piccolie. Surviving are her loving daughters, Judith and John Housman of Southington, CT, Maria Lena and Norm Peterson of Lexington, MA and Anita Piccolie of Red Bank; her cherished grandchildren, Justin and Maura Housman of W. Roxbury, MA, Daria and Andy Stolfi of Norwalk, CT, Adam and Lauren Housman of Brooklyn, and her dear great-grandchildren, Will and Rye Housman, Max and Gia Tae Stolfi, and Sophie Rose Housman, her nephews, Patrick and Bonnie Ambrosia of West Long Branch and John Ambrosia of Portland, ME.

A visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Monday April 2, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James RC Church at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday April 3, 2018. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Tae’s memory to the Parker Family Health Center, 211 Shrewsbury Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 0770
