Valet Parking Coming to West Side
Red Bank is looking to provide parking options for visitors.

In anticipation of future parking woes facing businesses on the west side of Red Bank's downtown, the borough is bringing valet parking to Bridge Avenue.
Red Bank Council discussed the move at its recent council meeting saying roadwork and housing developments soon to begin construction, such as the West Side Lofts, have the potential to make parking difficult in an already parking saturated area.
Similar to the valet parking operated on Broad Street, the Bridge Avenue valet parking will be offered on Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Cars will be parked by attendants in the grass lot behind the currently unoccupied Anderson Building on the corner of Bridge Avenue and West Monmouth Street.

Borough Administrator Stanley Sickles said when work begins on the West Side Lofts parking on that side of town will be a "crunch." Valet parking is a temporary solution to the problem until the West Side Lofts completes the parking garage it has planned.
Mayor Pat Menna said the effort was spearheaded by west side business owners, including Danny Murphy, owner of Danny's Steakhouse. The owners of Two River Theater and the Galleria across the street were also instrumental in the planning.
