Annual Women's March To Be Held In Bergen County
The theme of this year's march is solidarity, equality, and progress.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — They marched last year for justice.
They'll march again this year for solidarity, equality, and progress.
The march is Jan. 19 in Leonia. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Leonia Middle School. The march will proceed down Broad Avenue to Wood Park behind the Leonia Public Library. It will end sometime between 10:30 and 11 a.m., the group said.

The Leonia Women's March began in 2017 as part of the national movement following President Trump's inauguration. The group will host its third march this year.
The march is run by the Leonia Action Alliance, a grassroots political action group founded by Dr. Lauren Peccoralo, a doctor and mother of three.

More than 600 similar marches were held annually across the country in the previous two years, including the day after President Donald Trump took the office. Hundreds of thousands marched in Washington, D.C., Chicago, New York and San Francisco, as well as internationally.
