Snow In Bergen County Will Be Heaviest During These 6 Hours, NWS Says
The NWS posted a map of when snow will start and become heaviest throughout the Tri-State area, including Bergen County.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Bergen County is under a winter storm warning (formerly a watch) from 4 p.m. Friday through 1 p.m. Saturday.
The National Weather Service expects the snow for northeastern New Jersey to be heaviest during the evening rush hour, from 4-10 p.m. They expect the snow to start at 4 p.m., according to the map below.
On Thursday, the town of Fair Lawn noted, "If you experience a power outage, please call PSE&G directly at 1-800-436-7734...Report an outage by texting "OUT" to 4PSEG. Power outages and the power outage map can be found at https://outagecenter.pseg.com/external/default.html"

The NWS said in their hazardous weather outlook, "If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. Check local Department of Transportation information services for the latest road conditions."
