BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — While individual towns in Bergen County may be hosting separate remembrance ceremonies in honor of those who died on Sept. 11, 2001, the county also has an annual observance planned.

"Bergen County lost 147 precious lives on September 11, 2001 — friends, neighbors, colleagues, family members, all of whom went to work that day and never came home," noted New Bridge Medical Center back on Sept. 11 of last year.

This year, the county will host a ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 11 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
