Bergen County Teen Distributed Child Sex Abuse Images: Prosecutors
A Bergen County teen was arrested last week for distributing naked and sexually explicit images of children, prosecutors said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – A Bergen County teen has been arrested for distributing sexually explicit images of children, prosecutors said.
Brayan Escobar, 18, of Fairview was charged last Wednesday with second-degree distribution of child pornography and third-degree possession of child pornography, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said that Wednesday, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit identified Escobar during an internet child sexual abuse material investigation.

They determined that he used the Internet to "view, download, possess, and distribute items depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent children," prosecutors said.
He was taken to the Bergen County Jail to await a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, prosecutors say.

Prosecutor Mark Musella thanked the Fairview Police Department for assisting, as well as the Waldwick, Washington Township, and Woodcliff Lake Police Departments, which all participate in the Bergen County Cyber Crimes Task Force.
