The Giants Foundation donated $10,000 to to help children who leave foster care at 18 years old and continue on to school or independent living. The grant will provide educational support and care packages.
This support helps the teens transition into adulthood. Lacking traditional family support, children aging out of foster care often need help with school supplies and other day-to- day expenses.
