R'Wood District Holding Community Coffee Sessions

Three informal sessions for public will be held in January, March and May to discuss "open-ended" issues and the upcoming budget

Ridgewood Public Schools has announced an initiative to reach out to the education community over the next few months with a series of drop-in-coffees.

Those participating include Superintendent Daniel Fishbein along with the five members of the school board in an "informal" setting. 

The upcoming dates identified by the school district are Tuesday, Jan. 17 (with a snow date of Jan. 24); Thursday, March 8; and Monday, May 14.

The meetings in January and May will be "open-ended" while the March meeting will focus on the upcoming 2012-2013 school budget, the district said in a news release Tuesday.

The public is invited to meet with the education authorities from 7 to 9 p.m. on the third floor of the on Cottage Place.
