Drive-By Eggings Claim Three Victims

Police are investigating a series of drive-by eggings that occurred in Ridgewood and a surrounding town Friday night.

According to , a man near the train station was pelted with eggs and observed a white car flee east on Franklin Ave. He reported being struck in the face but is not believed to have suffered serious injuries.

Minutes later, two young men described as occupying a white Toyota Camry were observed to have thrown eggs at a woman on the east corner of Franklin and Maple, according to police. She was uninjured, though justifiably upset.

A third incident occurred outside the village, Cpt. Jacqueline Luthcke said. No further details of that incident were immediately available.

Detectives are investigating the incidents.
