Emily Riemer Makes the Grade
Bound for Brown University, Riemer is the valedictorian of Ridgewood High School Class of 2012.

Emily Riemer represented at the 2012 Bergen County Valedictorian Breakfast on June 5th.
A product of the Ridgewood Public School system since kindergarten at , Riemer has been setting the standard for academic excellence since 8th grade when she received the Globe Award at for the best academic performance.
Riemer’s scholastic achievements reflect the rigor of her studies; as a freshman she was captain of the Latin Certamen team, leading them to win the 2009 NJ State Championship. In 2011 she was selected to the elite group of New Jersey Scholars.
Riemer also has demonstrated a commitment to Ridgewood sports as both an athlete and volunteer. Currently a co-captain of the RHS Softball team, she has been a member of both the Softball and Cross Country teams since her freshman year. From 2008-2012 Riemer has been a Biddy Basketball coach and RBSA Special All-Star Volunteer.
Riemer will be a member of the 2016 graduating class of Brown University in Providence, RI.
