May is Crosswalk Safety Awareness Month in Ridgewood sponsored by the Citizens Safety Awareness Committee of the Village Council. The theme is "Crosswalk Safety...a two-way street. Drive Safely. Walk Safely." Volunteers are raising awareness every Saturday in May at Van Neste Square from 10a-2p (corner of Oak and E. Ridgewood Ave.) Free information available. This effort is in cooperation with the Village Police and Engineering Departments.
