The RHS Marching Band invites students interested in participating in the RHS Marching Band or Color Guard/Dance Ensemble for the Fall of 2010 to attend an information meeting for all parents and students – Tuesday, February 9 (7:30PM- RHS Band Room)
Students who join the marching band and color guard/dance ensemble must be able to attend the band camp dates. A preliminary rehearsal/performance schedule will be discussed at the meeting.
The RHS Marching Band is an optional part of the RHS Band Program, and is available as a co-curricular offering during the fall season for all musicians who are registered for band, orchestra, or choir without audition.
Students who are interested in participating in the color guard (flags, batons,rifles, etc.) do not need to be registered for a music class, but must audition for membership in the spring. Audition dates and procedures will also be discussed at the February 9 meeting.
All interested students and parents should attend the information meeting on Tuesday, February 9 in the RHS Band Room.
