'Meet the Artist' Zachary Lear

Visit the Stable Art Gallery throughout the month of February to enjoy an oil-painting mindscape of the abstract, surreal, and traditional styles.

Finding faces in the clouds, woodwork on the walls, and all around him, Zachary believes the expressive face is worth a thousand words.  His paintings of the human face and figure capture the passion, suffering, and beauty of free expression.  Some of the works are beautiful, some haunting and twisted, and others are merely fun.

The artist states, "painting is like a glorious song or a blazing color.  Songs soothe and speak to the mind as do colors and compositions.

"Meet the Artist" is a morning coffee offered February 4th, at 10:00 a.m.  In addition, an Artist Reception will be held on Friday evening, Feb. 12, from 7 to 9 p.m.  All are invited to attend.
