UPDATE: Resident Escapes Fire At Ridgewood Home Tuesday Morning

A blaze damaged a home on Beveridge Road in Ridgewood on Tuesday.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A fire swept through a Ridgewood home on Tuesday morning, but no one was injured, said Police Chief Forrest Lyons.

Photographer Boyd Loving shared the above images of the fire around 8:45 a.m. on the 300 block of Beveridge Road.

"Ridgewood FD was assisted at the scene by firefighters from Glen Rock, Ho-Ho-Kus, and Midland Park," he wrote. "A resident of the home sustained minor smoke inhalation but refused transportation to a local hospital. Ridgewood PD, Ridgewood OEM, and Ridgewood Emergency Services also responded to the incident. The fire's cause/origin remains under investigation."
