Snow Accumulation Map For Bergen County Updated Again: See Map, Track Storm

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The National Weather Service updated its snow predictions again on Saturday, forecasting that Bergen County will get at least 3 inches of snow early Sunday.

"The first accumulating snow of the season is expected Saturday night into Sunday morning where a few inches of snow would result in hazardous travel conditions," said a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the region issued on Friday.

The NWS said, for Bergen County:

  • Saturday night:"A slight chance of rain and snow before 7 p.m., then snow. Low around 26. Southwest wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible."
  • Sunday: "Snow likely, mainly before 10 a.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a temperature falling to around 25 by 5 p.m. Wind chill values between 15 and 25."
