BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Tropical Storm Debby has already taken an estimated six lives on the East Coast, including two children. The storm made second landfall in South Carolina Thursday.

The NWS also says winds could gust as high as 41 MPH starting at 11 a.m. Friday.
The hurricane was downgraded to a tropical storm by 11 a.m. on Monday and will likely be downgraded further by the time it bears down on North Jersey — but such storms have still proven dangerous in the past.
