Free Skating, Menorah And Kwanzaa Lighting On Tap For Bergen County 'Wonderland' This Week
The "Winter Wonderland" at Van Saun Park in Bergen County has special events lined up for Christmas and Hanukkah week.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — "Winter Wonderland" in Bergen County's Van Saun Park, which runs through mid-January, will have special events and deals this week for the holidays. Some activities require tickets (see links below).
The Wonderland and all activities will be closed for Christmas, but reopen at 11 a.m. the day after. It will be open until 9 p.m. that day. The hours are the same Friday, Dec. 27.
"New this year, experience even more winter wonder with Bergen’s Winter Wonderland Holiday Tap Takeover, showcasing local Bergen County breweries, and the Winter Craft Village, featuring local craft vendors and small businesses," the organizers noted.

On Friday, they'll have "Santacon at Winter Wonderland. Come dressed in your best Santa gear to receive free skate rentals. Second bumper car rides are half price and third rides are free!"
Ampliphy will play live rock music that day from 2:30 to 4: 30 p.m. Brix City will run the tap takeover, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

On Saturday, a Hannukah Menorah Lighting Celebration will take place at 6:30 p.m.
On Sunday, a Kwanzaa Kinara Lighting Celebration will take place at 5:30.
Both days will feature live music, beer, and more.
