Glen Rock Announces National Night Out Events

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Once again, the police department in Glen Rock will run events for National Night Out.

National Night Out, held on the first Tuesday of August in communities across the country each year, brings together members of law enforcement and public safety, city residents, businesses, and community leaders to promote and support police-community relationships. Whether on stoops or at festivals, it shows that neighbors stand together against crime.

In Glen Rock, the events will take place at Wilde Park from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Thursday, the police posted, "We have a few special events planned for this years National Night Out event. Here's a clue to one of them: Make sure your arms are warmed up and ready because some of our officers are going to make a splash."
