GR Hardware Adding Some Downtown Excitement

Amy and Geno Paolucci of have an sweet sounding idea – they hope to bring a more festive atmosphere to The Rock on Saturdays over the summer. And so they've started to bring some live music into the mix.

"We had our first musician this past Saturday, and we plan to continue on Saturdays throughout most of the summer," Amy explained in an e-mail. "We are having local musicians play (ranging from experienced guys to high school kids who want to showcase their talent)."

This upcoming Saturday kicks off GR Hardware's 4th of July event, which features live music, patriotic balloons and rub-on tattoos for kids. In addition customers can earn "Reward Dollars."

The store is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, though the musicians will be there from 11-3.

"It's just our way of adding a little summer fun for the community in downtown Glen Rock!" Amy said.
