Glen Rock's 125th Birthday Logo Selected

Lifelong Glen Rock resident and artist Michele Keller created the logo.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — The logo for the borough's 125th birthday celebration has been selected.

Lifelong borough resident and artist, Michele Keller created the logo. Hers was chosen among 18 that were anonymously submitted to a steering committee.

The logo was unveiled at the Borough Council's reorganization meeting Wednesday.

The borough was incorporated Sept. 14, 1894. The birthday celebration is this Sept. 14.

"We are so appreciative of the time and effort spent by all of the individuals who submitted potential logos. There were so many incredible designs to choose from and the final decision was very difficult," said Mayor Bruce Packer. "In the end, we were won over by the classic design, which incorporated so many iconic Glen Rock symbols."
