Here's How Ridgewood's Population Changed In 2018

How did the change compare to nearby towns like Glen Rock, Ho-Ho-Kus and Wyckoff? Find out

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The village is among the most populated places to live in Bergen County, new estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau show.

Ridgewood lost 21 residents in 2018, which is a -0.08 percent drop and among the lowest decreases in New Jersey.

The town's estimated population was 25,272, good for 101st most in New Jersey. Wyckoff gained four people while nearby Glen Rock lost 17 people.

The estimates show which New Jersey towns gained or lost the most residents in 2018, and which towns have the most-to-least people.

New Hanover township in Burlington County posted the biggest gain in 2018 with 817 new residents moving there. Maurice River township in Cumberland County had the biggest population decrease at 4.41 percent after 278 residents left.

Overall, New Jersey gained 19,977 residents in 2018 and had a total population of 8.9 million.
