Man Dies In Wrong-Way NJ Turnpike Crash In Bergen County
Another man was seriously injured in the head-on crash on the NJ Turnpike on Saturday, police said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A wrong-way driver died in a crash on the NJ Turnpike shortly before 3 a.m. on Saturday, police said.
Bruce Canfield, 44, from Pottstown, Pa., was traveling south in the northbound lanes on the Turnpike in Ridgefield Park when he crashed into a sedan, said State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.
Lebron said Canfield's Ford pickup truck crashed head-on into a Honda sedan driven by a 39-year-old man from Poughkeepsie, N.Y. The latter man was seriously injured, police said.

Lebron said the crash remains under investigation and no more information is available.
