Man And Woman Arrested For Vodka Heist At Glen Rock Store: Cops
A man and woman stole vodka from a liquor store in Glen Rock, police said. Two days later, the store was hit again.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — The Bottle King liquor store in Glen Rock was hit by shoplifters twice last week, police said, including a loss of two cases of vodka.
Last Tuesday, just before 9:30 p.m., the manager of the Prospect Street store told police about a shoplifting that had just occurred. He said a man and woman entered the store together. The man grabbed two cases of vodka, valued at $ 512, and walked out, the manager said.
Then they left in a black Hyundai Sonata. Detectives will review footage, police said.

Then, on Thursday, police were called again just before 9:30 p.m. They were told that a womabn left the store with a shopping cart filled with liquor that she didn't pay for.
Police said the cart was filled with 17 items valued at $269.

Police reviewed a video that showed the car.
Through investigation, Det. Sgt. James Calaski, Detective Lucas Doney, and Officer Sarah Orsita were able to identify the person.
On Saturday, police arrested a 27-year-old woman at her Paterson home and charged her with fourth-degree shoplifting. She was released to await an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at Superior Court in Hackensack.
Police said the stolen liquor was not recovered.
