Marcello's at the Station Closes

The columns are gone, the windows covered in paper. Longtime Italian restaurant Marcello's at the Station has closed for business.

Weeks ago, a sign in the window said the Wilsey Square restaurant had closed for renovations. It doesn't appear any renovation work has been done and the sign is gone. Phone calls went unanswered at Marcello's.

Sources tell Patch the restaurant won't be reopening.

Owner Marcello Czernizer could not be reached for comment. His other restaurant, The Stable, remains open for business.
