Mayor Aronsohn Holding 'Office Hours' for Public
You can meet the new mayor starting Saturday, July 7 at Village Hall.

says he's trying to bring more transparency and accessibility to government, and he's making himself available to the Ridgewood public for monthly "Meet the Mayor" meetings.
"It's part of an effort to make village government more acessible to the people we serve," Aronsohn said Tuesday.
He'll begin his first "Office Hours" meeting at Village Hall on Saturday, July 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The meetings will be held at that time on the first Saturday of every month.

The council member – in office since 2008 – said some residents likely feel uncomfortable speaking at public meetings or sending e-mails and this is a better way of interfacing and connecting to Ridgewood residents.
Village Clerk Heather Mailander said scheduled appointments will be given priority, but walk-in appointments will also be accommodated if time allows.
