
Ridgewood's Office of Emergency Management (OEM) director Brad Mason has resigned his post effective June 15, officials have confirmed.
Mason currently serves as Assistant Deputy Director of Homeland Security for the State of New Jersey, a position he's held since 2008. Prior to his job at Homeland Security, Mason spent eight years at FEMA, and also worked as a vice president of global crisis management at a finance firm in New York. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and enrolled in postgraduate studies at the Naval Academy.
Mason did not respond to a request for comment.

The OEM director position is a mayoral appointment. It's unknown who will take his position. Jeremy Kleiman serves as deputy director of OEM.
