PHOTOS: Hyped Thunderstorm Had Bark, Not Bite

There were no hail storms or heavy winds rolling through Ridgewood or Glen Rock Thursday night as initially projected.

called for damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain and lightning. But outside of a little rain, a lot of thunder and bolt or two of lightning, there wasn't much damage to be found in Ridgewood or Glen Rock on Thursday night.

No reports of flooding were received and police attended to few motor vehicle accidents. PSE&G's outage map reported between 1-500 homes without power Thursday night. Glen Rock residents did not lose electricity, according to the map. Hail? It thankfully never arrived, nor did the projected 58-70 mph winds.

So while the storm didn't live up to the expectations, it did offer some great opportunities for photos. If you have a photo to share, please add!
